In addition to the beauty supplies counters at Whole Foods Market, Jimbo's and the Ocean Beach People's Natural Food Co-op, two stores stand out for their natural beauty products: The Body Shop, an international chain that specializes in botanical ingredients and won't handle products used in animal testing; and the new Jurlique, which touts its cosmetics as "the purest skin care on earth®" and also runs a wellness day spa.
