Sea Rex 3D: Journey to a Prehistoric World is now showing at the San Diego Natural History Museum
Visitors will experience a wondrous adventure as they join Julie, an imaginative young woman, as she takes a unique voyage through time and space. The film explores an amazing underwater universe inhabited by larger-than-life creatures which ruled the seas millennia before dinosaurs conquered the Earth and even includes a face-to-face encounter with the “T. rex of the sea!”
the Downing 3D Experience in the Museum’s Charmaine and Maurine Kaplan Theater is included with paid admission to the Museum and is free for Museum members. On the Museum’s Free Tuesday, which is the first Tuesday of each month, there is a $5 charge per person to view a film. More information including the current film schedule is available online at www.sdnhm.org/films.
The latest in Dolby® Digital-3D technology delivers a premium viewing experience from any seat in the 300-seat, stadium-seating theater. In alignment with the Museum’s commitment to sustainability, Dolby 3D uses high-performance, eco-friendly glasses that require no batteries or charging and can be reused repeatedly, reducing waste associated with a disposable-glasses model. The Downing 3D Experience is sponsored by John and Tracy Downing, the Downing Family Foundation, the Eleanor and Jerry Navarra Family, Jerome’s Furniture, and Stephen Cohen, President, Private Asset Management, Inc.
