The company’s own history is quite the romance story. Tom was running a software company and hired Kate’s financial consulting firm to help him find venture capital for a new product. About a year after they worked together, Tom invited Kate for a ride in his open cockpit biplane and it was love at first flight. Kate went out the next day and signed up for lessons. Six months later she earned her pilot’s license and bought her first biplane. Along the way, she and Tom fell madly in love. They quit the corporate rat race and started this company so they could work together full time and share the romance of flying vintage planes with the public.
