Believe it or not, the motor coach industry is green. As meeting professionals, we strive to pursue the newest meeting industry trends and meet them and you could by going green with motor coach transportation. How you say? If you didn’t know motorcoaches are the most energy-efficient way to travel since they reduce congestion and pollution by taking more than 425 million cars off the road each year. Coaches also provide the same congestion mitigation benefits as transit buses in that they have the capacity to take up to 55 cars, per coach, off the road at one time.
At the same time, Coaches are the most fuel-efficient and least energy intensive mode of commercial passenger transportation. Motor coach passenger miles per gallon of fuel is highest with 148 passenger miles per gallon, more than four times greater than air carrier and passenger car fuel efficiency – and increasing.
