Pensive
The four members of Pensive formed when they attended El Capitan high school in East County, San Diego. As high school students they frequented the all-ages venues and were inspired by the bands they saw perform. “Blink 182 had a tremendous early influence on us, not only in musical style but in their ambition too.” Pensive is busy, living in their van on the road most of the year on tour, but they look forward to taking their breaks in San Diego. “Having traveled to every region in the country, we appreciate San Diego even more, especially the great weather and the best Mexican food anywhere in the U.S.!” Opening for Fall Out Boy during a sold out show was a performance highlight. “The energy felt on stage from a crowd that size is magical.” Other local bands they follow include Agent 51 and New Found Glory. When not seeing shows or on long road trips, the band enjoys “sitting on the beach at sunset, walking around Balboa Park, eating a great sushi dinner in the Gaslamp, and playing poker at the Casinos!” More information:pensive.net myspace.com/pensive
