The Transit War
"It's only a matter of time before San Diego is mentioned in the same breath as LA and NYC," so say the members of The Transit War. Having lived here about six years, the band is excited about the city's potential. "To see so much diverse music has been amazing." Their favorite place to see shows is the Casbah, " It’s very intimate and it feels like what live music should be.” No Knife, Inch, Hot Like a Robot are among their favorite local bands. Playing the CD release party for “Miss Your Face” at the Casbah this past fall was a highlight, “The show sold out and we received a great response to the new songs.” When not working locally or on the road, they enjoy doing “anything outside. Drinking a cold Tecate next to a pool in December is the reason we moved here." More information:thetransitwar.com myspace.com/thetransitwar
