When I first came out of the NFL draft in 2007, I knew San Diego was where I wanted to be. I grew up in Rancho Cucamonga, so playing for the Chargers is a dream come true.
On home game days, you can't beat San Diego's weather. In November, December and January, temperatures can be around 60, 70, or sometimes 80 degrees, it's amazing. Especially when you see games in other cities around the country, and it's cold or snowing.
I'm also an avid golfer, and San Diego is great for golfing year round - not many cities can say that. Not a day goes by when I'm not on the field, that I wish I could be out on the links. Torrey Pines, Maderas, the Crossing at Carlsbad, La Costa and Aviara, I've played the majority of courses, and they're top notch.
San Diego is a beautiful city, the people are amazing and it's just a great laid back place where there's always something to do. I'm proud to live in San Diego, one of the most popular tourism destinations in the world.
