Nighttime Zoo - Shake, Rattle & Roar

Summer's here and the time is right for dancin' in the...Zoo! In the late afternoon and summer evening hours, the San Diego Zoo moves to a different beat. There will be plenty of toe-tapping, body-moving music in a variety of sounds and styles-rock tunes through the decades; festive mariachi melodies; a brass band; smooth, rocking, a cappella harmonies and more! An astonishing acrobatic trampoline show will keep things hopping, and Dr. Zoolittle's Music Factory will be open for zany fun and exploration. End your evening with a spectacular music, light, and video experience at the newly remodeled Wegeforth Bowl. There's so much to do, see, and hear at Nighttime Zoo-it's a good thing summer hours are longer!

Summer Safari Asian Celebration

The San Diego Zoo Safari Park's Summer Safari is an extravaganza of dance, music, gymnastics and more. From the moment guests enter the Safari Park they are immersed in Asian-themed festivities and up-close encounters with amazing animals - and the big cats at Safari Park's newest attraction, Tiger Trail are waiting in their glorious new habitat to greet visitors!

Aquatica SeaWorld's Waterpark

Aquatica is set to make a splash for a third season with a combination of high-speed thrills, a relaxing beachside resort atmosphere, up-close animal encounters, and, new this year, heated resort pools and children's attractions. Big Surf Shores, Loggerhead Lane, Slippity Dippity, Walkabout Waters and Kata's Kookaburra Cove will all be heated to a relaxing 78-80 degree temperature! Also adding to guest comfort this year are additional shade structures, shade trees, lounge chairs and dining tables.

LEGOLAND California

This summer, LEGOLAND debuts LEGO Friends Heartlake City. The new area is based on the LEGO Group's "Friends" series of toys, which focuses on the lives and personalities of five girls: Mia, Olivia, Andrea, Stephanie and Emma. The new area invites guests to sing along with Andrea at her tour stage, stroll through LEGO horse stables, enjoy a building activity at one of the LEGO brick tables and go for a horseback ride on the carousel in Mia's family ranch.

Balboa Park Centennial

The City of San Diego is celebrating the Centennial of Balboa Park. Join us as we celebrate the art, science, culture, of Balboa Park and the City of San Diego with a year of breathtaking performances, awe-inspiring exhibitions, and historical experiences with a reverence to how San Diego has grown, and how Balboa Park has evolved over the last century.

Belmont Park

Belmont Park in Mission Bay kicks off a year-long celebration to recognize 90 years of fun on the historic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster with a #MillionsofMemories campaign. The 90th celebration of this 1925, 2,600-ft.-long wooden coaster will include an antique car show and gala to highlight 90 years and millions of memories. The newest addition to Belmont Park is the laser maze challenge. This "Mission Impossible" style course invites players to duck, dive and roll through a timed course. The objective is to navigate the course as quickly as possible without breaking the lasers.

Living Coast Discovery Center

This summer, the park features the SuperWild: Discovering Animal Super Powers which invites super heroes of all ages to get up and close and personal with creatures that walk on walls, possess super strength, are invisible to the naked eye, and can even regenerate limbs.
