Washington Mutual Thunderboat Regatta
Date: 9/17- 9/19/2004
Get ready for some of the biggest legends in unlimited hydroplane racing
to skim across the Bill Muncey Memorial Race Course on Mission Bay at
speeds of over 200 miles per hour! Drag boats, Formula One tunnel hulls,
champ boats, cracker box inboards, and unlimited lights will also compete in
San Diego's largest annual spectator sports event. The fun continues into the
evening with concerts, interactive games, extreme sports shows, military
displays and a spectacular display of fireworks.
