San Diego Symphony - Featuring Jacobs' Masterworks Series

Music lovers will score an evening of thrilling music in Rococo splendor as internationally renowned conductor, Jahja Ling, makes his official debut as Musical Director. The season begins with the Opening Night Gala on October 2, with special flute soloists Sir James and Lady Jeanne Galway and continues with the Jacobs' Masterworks Series. Under Ling's superb artistic direction, the Series has been expanded to 12 Masterworks and will feature such stellar guest artists as pianist Emanuel Ax and violinist Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg.
