Summer of Sports is the 2008 Fair theme, celebrating athletics and sportsmanship in our county and beyond. The Summer of Sports Exhibit will showcase sports history, memorabilia, interactive exhibits and more. The annual county fair features garden shows, livestock tents, a midway complete with carnival rides, and concerts throughout the beautiful Del Mar Fairgrounds. (close some Mondays) This year's lineup of musical acts is not to be missed! Most of the shows are free with your paid admission to the fair (with the exception of Earth, Wind & Fire, B.B. King, Sugarland, Boston and Fergie). The not-to-be-missed lineup includes: - Reggae Festival with Steel Pulse, Pato Banton & The Mystic Roots Band and Pau Hana
