Join Peter Mondavi Jr. as he traces the evolution of Charles Krug-Peter Mondavi Family wines and Napa Valley cabernet sauvignons through this compelling vertical tasting of the winery’s Vintage Selection Cabernet Sauvignon.
Founded in 1861, Charles Krug Winery was Napa Valley’s first winery and has been in the Peter Mondavi Family since 1943. The Vintage Selection cabernets sauvignon is the winery’s flagship wine, crafted since 1944, but made only in years when conditions are optimum. These cabernet sauvignons epitomize the family’s dedication to quality and have been described as “beautiful, alluring wines marked by elegance.”
