Join us Saturday, February 28 for a great performance with songtress Debra and accompanist/lyricist/showman Rayme as we celebrate the release of their newest CDs.
Debra and Rayme will entertain with new songs and new stories in this funny, engaging, diverse night of music and laughter. Both performers will feature numbers from their new CDs; Debra's "Driving My Own Heart" and Rayme's "Paisley Piano".
Light fare, alcoholic beverages, sodas and dessert are available.
Debra has performed in regional theatres and cabaret clubs across the country, most frequently in Los Angeles, San Diego, Boston, and South Florida. In Professionally Speaking at the Off-Broadway, The Miami Herald hailed her “a comic sparkplug.” Her role in Triumph of Love won a KPBS-TV Patté award. Her one-woman show My Nights With George, Kurt & Cole, (co-written and directed by comic genius, Phil Johnson) was featured at various venues throughout Southern California and won Best New Play and Best Actress at the 2003 San Diego Actors Festival, and the San Diego Playbill Billie Award for Best Actress in a musical. www.debrawanger.com
Rayme Sciaroni has attained popularity from New York to California, composing music theater pieces for Off-Broadway productions, cabaret shows, radio programs, CD's of various singers and children's musicals. His talents encompass a wide spectrum of projects in a variety of mediums. Considerable achievement has been accorded Rayme in his writing, directing, musical directing, choreographing of numerous stage productions.
