San Diego Festival of Beer

This year's Fifteenth annual Festival of Beer will take over the streets at Columbia and B once more to bring you a fun-filled evening with a goal of 6,000 beer lovers like yourself enjoying the sounds of live music while sampling from seventy five different breweries.
We are expanding the festival this year to provide more space, more variety (as of 09/13/09), and even more donations for local area cancer-fighting causes. Woohoo!!
NEW THIS YEAR! - we are partnering with the W Hotel to provide a discounted room & ticket package. One night’s stay at W plus one ticket to the Festival of Beer is just $229 or $269 for a double room rate and two Beer Fest tickets. Please visit this link to learn more and make your reservations.
The admission price includes ten (4oz.) beer tastings. Inside the SDFoB there are food and munchies for sale in addition to a selection of fine wines for purchase by the glass. The first 6,000 guests will receive a free souvenir event logo tasting mug that is theirs to use throughout the evening and to keep when they go home.
Tickets at the door are $30 (cash or local personal check to SDPAC). Advance tickets (cheaper!) are on sale now via the Ticket Info page.
An ATM will be available within the event to allow for cash transactions to occur.
Designated Drivers: A $20 designated driver ticket is available for purchase at the event. All tastings are crossed off but you get the souvenir glass.
Additional tastings: Extra tastings may be purchased at the rate of $5 for five or $10 for ten.
Wine available: Fine wines will be sold for $4 or $5 a pour. If you are not interested in beer at all, simply request the reduced price $20 ticket and be prepared to pay cash for your wine tastings individually. Enjoy!
