11/14/09 Always wanted to know the difference between an oaky Chardonnay and a crisper one? Can you tell an American Pinot Noir from a French red Burgundy? Is it Syrah or Shiraz and what the heck is a Petite Shirah? Is there any wine that goes with artichokes or asparagus? What wine should you serve with your Thanksgiving turkey or ham?

We will be sampling both whites and reds from Richard’s cellar and there will be a few surprise wines in between. Light snacks of cheese, bread, and chocolate will be provided. Each participant will be given a concise wine guide for their future use.

The event will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and will be limited to the first 35 persons who sign up. This is going to be a sell out, so please sign up early!

The cost for the event is $35.00 per person or $60.00 for couples.
