Artist and writer Carrie Patterson will speak about the relationship between art and technology from 1966 to the present at The San Diego Museum of Art. Her own work has been influenced by scientific areas as chemistry and physics including her most recent project involving the chemistry of perfumes. After the lecture, join Museum Educators for a workshop inspired by the topic of science in art. 1:00–3:30 p.m.
