OEX Dive & Kayak Centers – Mission Bay offers a complete line of scuba, kayak and standup paddleboard accessories. STANDUP PADDLEBOARD LESSON – Join us on an hour and a half guided tour of Mission Bay. Our experienced guides will make sure you’re comfortable on the board and fine tune your technique to get the most out of each stroke. The calm, protected waters of Sail Bay make this one of our most popular tours, so sign up early!
MISSION BAY KAYAK TOUR - Our guided kayak trips are a great way to escape the summer heat, or just enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Mission Bay. These tours are great for the whole family, or as a special event. No experience is necessary, our guides will make sure everyone’s a pro by the end of the day!
SAN DIEGO BOAT DIVING - OEX is pleased to offer amazing dive boat charters through Waterhorse Charters with their brand new custom dive boat The Humboldt! Tons of space, cool crew, good food, and all the stuff that makes scuba diving in San Diego fun. Waterhorse Charters offers daily trips with destinations including local Wreck Alley, Los Coronados Islands, Point Loma Kelp, and Scripps Canyon.
KAYAK FISHING CLASS - OEX now offers Intro to Kayak Fishing classes designed to introduce anglers to this exciting new style of fishing. The class consists of one seminar where all aspects of kayak fishing will be discussed. From basic fishing and paddling techniques to specialized kayak fishing methods, you will have the knowledge to have a safe and successful kayak fishing trip. The second part of the class is an instructional trip. Bring your own kayak or use one of ours for no additional charge. You'll have the chance to use the skills you've learned in the seminar and apply them to the water.

KAYAK TOUR OF LA JOLLA - La Jolla kayak tours have become one of the most popular activities in San Diego. Our kayak tours in La Jolla take place in La Jolla’s Ecological Preserve, a marine life sanctuary and home to the seven sea caves and the La Jolla Sea Lion and Harbor Seal colonies. Our stable, sit on top kayaks are easy for beginners to paddle and you can expect to see dolphin, Sea Lions, Harbor Seals, and a variety of different bird life. On many days, it’s common to see local fish life from the kayak, including Garibaldi and (harmless!) Leopard Sharks. Our expert Certified Kayak Guides are familiar with these local La Jolla marine residents and can offer interesting facts and history about the surrounding area.
