Designed by Johnny Miller and Robert Muir Graves, Maderas offers a unique combination of golf course strategy and design mastery, while taking the concept of upscale golf in San Diego to exhilarating levels.
Maderas’ driving range and short game facility include grass tees, a superiorly conditioned short game facility including several greenside bunkers and a fairway bunker. Use of the driving range and practice facility is complimentary before a paid round of golf.

Our director of golf instruction John Darling, 2006 Southern California PGA Section and San Diego Chapter Instructor of the year, brings 31 years of experience. John has been a PGA member since 1973 and was a founding instructor of the Golf University. Additionally, he has taught 5 State Junior Champions and has 3 nationally ranked Juniors and 2 locally ranked players. Individual golf lessons are available by appointment.
The 10,000 square foot Clubhouse at Maderas Golf Club was designed in the Italian Villa Style. Amenities include a grand foyer, complete pro shop, two lounge style changing rooms, restaurant and private members lounge.
