Westfield Horton Plaza is a unique downtown shopping experience. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown San Diego, this iconic and architectural wonder features more than 120 specialty shops, including Nordstrom, Macy's, Coach, Banana Republic, BCBG Max Azria, White House | Black Market, United Artists/Regal Cinema, The Lyceum Theatre and the Mad House Comedy Club (opening October 2011) there's plenty to see and do.

Horton Plaza's architecture was inspired by three unique looks: a European- style marketplace, colorful amusement parks and historical elements of San Diego. The Palazzo building, a duplicate of one found in Venice, features over 1 million black and white tiles imported from Italy and laid by hand. The 47 different paint colors used in the shopping center echo the festive atmosphere of a carnival and the ornate light ornaments in certain areas of the center are replicas of the original gas lamps that once lined San Diego's streets.
