Fiesta de Reyes is a section of Old Town San Diego State Historic Park, and is comprised of three restaurants and 18 locally owned unique shops. Through its restaurants, Casa de Reyes, Barra Barra Saloon and the Cosmopolitan Hotel & Restaurant, entertainment and specialty vendors, Fiesta de Reyes blends history and the festive modern spirit and flavor of Mexico. The courtyard area remains a gathering place for community events, fiestas and historic reenactment activities.
With primarily outdoor seating, Casa de Reyes features classic recipes from Mexico, providing a festive family dining experience and lively cantina ambience in a lush garden setting.
Barra Barra Saloon provides both outdoor and indoor seating and the décor, ambiance and costumed servers reflect the historic era when California achieved statehood, providing an intriguing restaurant experience for guests.
Visiting the Cosmopolitan Hotel & Restaurant is a unique experience that is not often found many other places in California as well as around the U.S. Originally constructed as the home of San Diego pioneer Juan Bandini between 1827 and 1829, the building has undergone a $6.5 million restoration and includes 10 boutique hotel rooms featuring historic furnishings and a restaurant with a historically themed menu. The hotel is the perfect blend of modern and historic and gives the guest the appreciation of the 1800s with the modern luxuries that we have come accustomed to in the 21st century.
