Hornblower features San Diego Dinner Cruises, Scenic Champagne Brunch Cruises, Sightseeing Harbor Cruises & Sea Lion Adventures, seasonal Whale & Dolphin Watching Cruises, special holiday cruises and private charters for groups up to 1,000 guests on 7 distinct yachts.
Nightly Sunset Dinner Cruises are perfect for celebrating special occasions or for visitors who have only a few days in town. Sip champagne and enjoy a three-course dinner prepared fresh on board by our culinary team, then dance to music or watch the sparkling San Diego city lights and bay views drift by from the outdoor decks. Summer offers a variety of delicious dining cruises, including Saturday Champagne Brunches, weekend Lobster Dinners, City Lights Fireworks Dinners and Bands on the Bay Cruises with live music every Friday night. Cruises board nightly at 6:30pm, and cruise from 7-10pm.
The two-hour weekend Champagne Brunch Cruises provide a unique experience with a morning on the water, bubbly champagne and a bountiful brunch buffet! Enjoy free flowing champagne and a narration of the incredible sights of San Diego Bay. Brunch cruises are Sundays year-round and Also on Saturdays during the summer. Cruises board at 10:30am and cruise from 11am-1pm.
New Summer Sights & Sips Sunset Cruises are San Diego’s only floating happy hour! Set on San Diego Bay, Sights & Sips includes delicious appetizers, refreshing drink specials and a perfectly timed sunset cruise every Friday and Saturday Memorial Day through Labor Day weekends. The cruise was specifically designed to entertain San Diego visitors, delight locals and satisfy anyone seeking a unique and relaxing happy hour. Boarding begins at 5:30 pm, cruising from 6 – 7:30 pm, with an option half hour to stay onboard and enjoy your drinks until 8 pm.
Also offered daily are daily narrated Harbor Cruises & Sea Lion Adventures, showcasing the sights, sounds and excitement of San Diego Bay. With one or two hour cruises available, and six departure times throughout the day, Harbor Cruises are a great way to see San Diego from a unique perspective, the rails of a yacht! See more than 50 landmarks and historic sights, all narrated by Hornblower’s seasoned captains. Sights of the North Bay include historic ships, a nuclear submarine base, Cabrillo National Monument and the Point Loma Lighthouse, America’s Cup Harbor and a colony of California Sea Lions, permanent bay residents. The South Bay includes the Midway Aircraft Carrier, Navy SEAL training grounds, a variety of Navy ships and ship repair facilities and includes a cruise under the famous Coronado Bay Bridge. Choose one or the other on a one hour cruise, or both on a two hour.
Come mid-December, Hornblower offers guests a chance to take a ride on the wild side on a Whale & Dolphin Watching Adventure! Get up close and personal with Gray Whales, California Sea Lions and a variety of dolphins and other marine life. Cruises include narration from Hornblower’s seasoned captains, on-board experts from the San Diego Natural History Museum, climate-controlled indoor areas and plenty of room on the outer decks for front-row views. Hornblower offers two cruises daily at 9:30 am and 1:30 pm, mid-December through the end of March.

You can also tie the knot at 4 knots! Weddings and receptions on the water are unforgettable and Hornblower provides a unique venue for wedding, commitment ceremonies and receptions of all sizes. Couples can even be married by our captains. From the wedding ceremony to the cake, Hornblower offers the ultimate in unique, romantic weddings.
