TaylorMade Performance Lab, located at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara offers golf's "Ultimate Fitting Experience". We provide a remarkable golf experience that, until recently, was only available to individuals and small groups.
Our modern stat-of-the-art facility utilizes one of the world's most advanced computerized motion-capture technology systems, the same used in making the Tiger Woods video game and movies like Spider Man and King Kong to record the golf swing in full motion. Customers are outfitted with reflective sensors and a three dimensional dynamic image is instantly created of the person while hundreds of measurements of the players swing and golf club are being captured and recorded by nine high speed cameras from all angles, shaft deflection and torque are collected and can be viewed immediately in real time, slow motion or stop action from any angle. Our certified fitting professional then analyses the golfers swing to help them understand the dynamics of their individual swing characteristics.
Then the computer, using proprietary algorithms based on a database of hundreds of thousands of swings, generates a set of recommendations which designate the TaylorMade clubs which would be best suited for that golfer to optimize the player's potential.
The second hour of the session is spent on the adjacent driving range with the fitting pro validating the recommended club specifications. The golfer will have the opportunity to swing and experience the actual recommended clubs with customizations features incorporated and confirmed the improved performance.
