Basic Handgun Course

Aegis Academy's Basic Handgun Course or weekend Basic Handgun Series is designed to ingrain solid marksmanship fundamentals and teach you how to develop sound habits that will enable you to perform at peak levels in the future. For new shooters, this course will give you the ability to walk onto any range in the country and practice your skills safely, accurately, and effectively. More importantly, you will have a professionally developed program that will enable you to build and advance your skills over the long term. After just three days in the course, you will find yourself shooting better than most of the "experienced" shooters you see at the local range. For experienced shooters who are having difficulty performing at the top of their game, this is the place to identify and break through the plateau that is limiting you from reaching your full potential! Our experienced mentors will work closely with you to identify and correct the issues that are slowing you down.
