Where can kids meet some spooky and not-so-spooky animals? Dance the day away with funny friends like Tabitha Taffy and Timothy Toffee? And trick-or-treat in a sea-inspired atmosphere? It's all part of SeaWorld's Halloween Spooktacular, where kids can dress up in their Halloween best and go on a trick-or-treating adventure throughout the park (trick or treat bags are provided).
Families won't want to miss SeaWorld's Halloween-themed shows, including Clyde & Seamore's Big Halloween Bash and Sesame Street's Who Said Boo?
New this year will be a themed area celebrating Dia de los Muertos, where colorful papel picado flags, vibrant Ofrendas and large Catrinas will invite guests to learn about and take part in the festivities of this traditional Mexican holiday. Festivities are geared for kids 12 years and under, who are invited to come in costume and enjoy all the festivities on Saturdays and Sundays, September 24 to October 30, 2016.
Here's a detailed look at some of the Spooktacular fun:
Sea Lion and Otter show
California sea lions Clyde and Seamore throw a big party, with their help of their friend O.P. Otter, during Clyde & Seamore's Big Halloween Bash performed at Sea Lion and Otter Stadium.
Sesame Street show
Elmo and friends dress up in their Halloween best as they dance their way through Count's Castle during Sesame Street's Who Said Boo? live performances at the park's Mission Bay Theater.
Kids 12 and under are encouraged to come in costume and enjoy more than a dozen sea-inspired trick-or-treat stations, with candy sweets and healthy options as well (trick-or-treat bags provided).
Kids can meet and mingle with SeaWorld's fun and friendly Halloween characters, including Tabitha Taffy and Timothy Toffee.
