Get Away to La Jolla to Get Close to It All
The Inn is ideally located between San Diego Downtown and North County offering a great location for enjoying both worlds. North County has the Del Mar Race Track, Hot Air Balloons, Del Mar Fair, Wild animal Park, Polo Matches, and wineries; while Downtown San Diego has Petco Park, Gaslamp Quarter, Balboa Park, the Zoo and SeaWorld. The seaside village of La Jolla is rich in history and The Bed and Breakfast Inn at La Jolla is noted for its historical significance. Originally a residence built in 1913 by renowned "Cubist" architect, Irving Gill, it was also home to the "March King," John Philip Sousa's family in the 1920's. Kate Sessions, a horticulturist responsible for Balboa Park, designed the original gardens. The Bed and Breakfast Inn at La Jolla is proud to be a very special and important asset to this very cosmopolitan village by the sea.
