Playwrights Project

Where stories take the stage

Playwrights Project is a non-profit organization devoted to arts education. We believe that theater is a powerful form of self-expression and an essential element of society.

Our mission is to advance literacy, creativity and communication by empowering individuals to voice their stories through playwriting programs and theatre productions.

Founded by Deborah Salzer in 1985, Playwrights Project reaches over 8,000 people annually.
