Whale watching in Southern California is a year round event. Spring celebrates the amazing gray whale migration along with mega pods of dolphin number in the hundreds to thousands. Killer whales and humpback whales are also quite common during the spring months. Unlike much of the rest of the country southern California is blessed with mild weather and ocean conditions are lake like much of the time. The spring season is a great time to see all these amazing mammals.
