LEGOLAND California Resort has started a fun new series called LEGOLAND Building Challenge. Each week LEGOLAND California will announce a new theme and release a new how-to-build video. Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography is live streaming from its Giant Kelp Forest exhibit. The Kelp Cam is a stunning live feed featuring Leopard Sharks, Moray Eels, Garibaldi and a 300-pound Giant Black Seabass. The aquarium is also working on a new section of the website dedicated to online learning. Newly created online resources for educators and parents will be available as free downloads. Educational content will be structured by age or grade and as much as possible will be aligned to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). There will also be informal learning content such as art projects and educational coloring pages.

Behind the Curtain, a free how-to-make-theatre workshop available on The Old Globe Arts Engagement’s Facebook page begins on April 1, 2020 and runs every Wednesday from 3 - 4 p.m. (Pacific time zone) for six weeks (time may be subject to change; please watch their website). Two Teaching Artists/actors will host free hour-long online playwriting workshops every Tuesday and Thursday for nine weeks.
