The Boardwalk

San Diego’s iconic boardwalk stretches from the jetty in South Mission Beach all the way past Crystal Pier into north Pacific Beach. Along the 3-mile stretch, you’ll find bikers, boarders, strollers and skaters enjoying the flat, paved path and the coffee shops, restaurants and rental shops dotted along the way. But only on the east side of the path, as the west is reserved for wide-open views of the Pacific Ocean. Keep an eye out for dolphins enjoying the waves with the surfers.
