Celebrate World Animal Day with the rescued sanctuary animals of Lions Tigers & Bears. Meet all the rescued animals living at this beautiful 93 acre accredited, nonprofit sanctuary, while learning about the exotic animal trade. Celebrated annually on October 4, the feast day of Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, World Animal Day is an international day of action for animal welfare. Father Jason Samuels of Christ the King Episcopal Church in Alpine will offer a special Blessing of the Animals during this very guided educational visit. Free for Members of Lions Tigers & Bears. Reservations required. Proceeds support lifesaving rescues and lifelong care for rescued animals.
