San Diego horse racing takes place where the "turf meets the surf" at the Del Mar Racetrack. Fans flock to the track each summer to wager on their favorite horses during the popular, annual Del Mar Racetrack racing season, mid-July - early-September. Be part of the magic and nostalgia of this long-time horse race tradition dating back to 1937 when Bing Crosby greeted the first guests, and Seabiscuit won by a nose in the infamous race in 1938. This season features the nation's top racehorses, trainers and jockeys, and plenty of fun in the sun.

Stay after dark and help us celebrate summer during Nighttime Zoo. Come "rock and roar" every day this summer with live music and other amazing entertainment experiences. There's so much to do, see and hear at Nighttime Zoo - it's a good thing summer hours are longer!

Discover The Del’s newly elevated pool experience open daily from 8am-8pm. Guests enjoy shaded private cabanas and chaise lounges surrounding an upgraded pool with direct access to the Sun Deck. Pool seating has been arranged to account for 6-foot distancing and face masks are required until guests are physically in chairs or in the pool. 

Resort Pass
Day Visitors can now use Resort Pass to visit the Cabana Pool. Day Passes start at $70 for adults and $35 for children. Pool cabanas start at $350 for the full day.

Find out first-hand what it is like on a paranormal investigation while ghost hunting. The Tenth Ave Arts Center was built as a chapel for the First Baptist Church in 1928 and has many stories to tell. With 4 infamous in-house ghosts there are many notable occurrences that have haunted this chapel’s halls.

You will hear the haunting stories of the spirits inside the chapel and have an opportunity to ghost hunt in several areas of the building.
