The Amphitheater & Floating Stage can be found in the heart of Market Creek Plaza, along the banks of Chollas Creek. The stage is set into the creek bed, which actually rises and falls with the water level.

Easy access via public transportation is available. The Euclid Trolley Station is situated at the Plaza; simply walk across the parking lot to the Amphitheater. Parking behind Jacobs Center.

Get in on all the music at Gator By The Bay. Downbeat for the festival is 6 PM on Thursday evening. Under the big tent on the east end, enjoy an evening of music from Americana to Zydeco!

The evening features two dance floors, comfortable seating and an upgraded table service option. Three specially selected food vendors will offer up tasty creole dishes and beverages, hot and cold for sale. Back by popular demand, we will be presenting this intimate concert for the sixth year in a row.

Featuring 2-Time Grammy Winner, Terrance Simien & The Zydeco Experience, Sarah Petite & the Bobby Sanchez Combo.

The Rosin Box Project, San Diego’s premier contemporary ballet company, is opening our 2023 Season: Impulse with Empower. A trailblazing female-led program coinciding with Women’s History Month, featuring three new works choreographed by Resident Artists Lauren Flower, Bethany Green, and Carly Topazio, to be presented at the Light Box Theater in Liberty Station. 

TRBP thrives on expanding the definition of what dance is—who it’s made for and by—while presenting world-class dancers and choreography in an unfiltered and authentic space. Empower spotlights female choreographers that are evolving the art form with their own unique artistic voices.
