Author and speaker Fanny Krasner Lebovits shares her story of loss, resilience and survival during the Holocaust. Born in Liepaja, Latvia Lebovits was nineteen when Nazis invaded her town. She survived five concentration camps and went on to become a nurse with the United Nations. She wrote her memoir Memories, Miracles, and Meaning: Insights of a Holocaust Survivor at age 95. Now 96, she resides in La Jolla, California and is an active public speaker and community advocate.
