Solo artist Alexandra Hart, whose exhibition "symbiosis" is on view from September 30th through December 3rd, and geologist and biologist J. David Archibald, whose research centers on the evolutionary history of mammals and extinction, will engage in a wide ranging discussion plumbing the depths of their respective fields to illuminate and expand upon the themes explored through this vibrant exhibition.

37th International Exhibition

The San Diego Watercolor Society presents the 37th International Exhibition featuring the very best of watermedia art from around the world.  The exhibition was juried by award-winning artist Katherine Chang Liu. The exhibit runs October 1-31, 2017 at our Art Gallery in The ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station.  The Opening Reception is Friday, October 6 from 5-8 pm with 95-100 original ready-to-hang paintings for sale, plus wine, food and the fellowship of other art enthusiasts.  The Gallery is open every day during October from 10 am – 4 pm and is free to the public.  Visit www.sdws.org for more information.

A place for all Ghostly Pirates. Come one come all and gather at the Maritime Tavern for one night only, Saturday October 28, 2017 8pm-Midnight!

A Clever Ghostly Themed Maritime Tavern located aboard the upper deck of the historic 1898 Steam Ferry Berkeley, who some say is haunted, will be featuring live music by the famous Jackstraws, costume contests, games, photo booth, dancing, plus trivia contents for even more chances to win, and general piratical behavior.
