Kelsey Overstreet / THE WAY WE MOVE

Sparks Gallery’s programming for 2021 has included prominent Southern California artists who explore the theme and concept of “Identity” in their work. As we continue through our summer programming, we will feature an artist whose work explores how movement between people and objects can define their identity, as well as the identity of others. In her solo show, “The Way We Move”, artist Kelsey Overstreet draws inspiration from her environment, and speaks to human experience through exploration of movement in her abstract expressionist works.

We invite you to join us in the gallery on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 11am-7 pm for the Opening of Kelsey Overstreet’s solo show, “The Way We Move”. RSVP required. RSVP at https://sparksgallery.com/rsvp?eid=28110

Taste of December Nights

Dec 3 - Dec 5, 2021

For more than 40 years, the San Diego community has welcomed in the holiday season by celebrating the annual December Nights in Balboa Park. Due to the potential uncertainty of public health conditions at the time of December Nights, and out of an abundance of caution, the City has made the decision to expand upon the 2020 successful drive-through experience, "Taste of December Nights," for this year's event.

Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

Nov 10 - Dec 31, 2021

Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas! is a wonderful, whimsical musical based upon the classic Dr. Seuss book. Back for another incredible year, the family favorite features the songs “Santa for a Day,” “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch,” and “Welcome, Christmas (Fah Who Doraze),” the delightful carol from the popular animated version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Celebrate the holidays as the Old Globe Theatre is once again transformed into the snow-covered Who-ville, right down to the last can of Who-hash.

Pure Project Bottle & Coffee Release

Dec 9, 2021

BOTTLE RELEASE:

We proudly present something we've never done before: a blend of single, double, and triple bourbon barrel-aged stouts (all in one bottle)! Enchiridion was inspired by the process of making Lief, our Méthode Traditionelle - 3 year blend; it's the stout version of a Méthode Traditionelle, and we think it might be the first of its kind. 🙂

And alongside Enchiridion, we're also excited to release our 4th batch of Everything Gold May Stay, a collaboration with Fruition Brewing—an oak barrel-aged golden Flanders-style ale aged with raspberries.
