Join the historic San Diego Civic Youth Ballet as our beloved holiday tradition is kept alive with The Nutcracker Project 2020. SDCYB’s most advanced dancers have already been rehearsing for weeks via Zoom in preparation to perform excerpts from The Nutcracker outside in Balboa Park in mid-December. While not open to a public audience, the 30-minute performance (featuring the iconic Tchaikovsky score) will be professionally filmed and available to view from the safety of your home just in time for the holidays!  

Snuggle up on Del Beach for our favorite holiday movies in a theater under the stars. Guests may cuddle up around a private bonfire with s’mores and relax in a beach daybed or enjoy seating in socially distanced Del Beach sand chairs. Reservations are required.

The movies begin promptly at 6:30pm, doors open at 6pm. Please come prepared to stay warm. Blankets are encouraged and a limited number will be available for sale. All guests are required to wear face masks, unless seated and consuming food or beverages. Guests must maintain a minimum 6 feet of social distancing.

Celebrate the holidays with Jingle Roast! Cozy up around a private beach bonfire in a warm Santa hat and choose from a full menu of roasted s’mores and other fireside favorites.

Jingle Roast is available December 11-27. Fire pits are $250 for a one-hour experience with s'mores and add-on a la carte menu options. Reservations are required. Outside food and beverage is not permitted.
