For more than sixty years, Mother Nature has transformed the rolling hills of North San Diego County into one of the most spectacular and coordinated displays of natural color and beauty anywhere in the world. The nearly fifty acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers that make up the Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch in Carlsbad, California, are in bloom for approximately six to eight weeks each year - from early March through early May - literally bringing the famous fields back to life. This annual burst of color, which has become part of the area’s local heritage, also is one of nature’s official ways of announcing the arrival of spring here in Southern California.

Get read to get cozy under the stars by the campfire! Come join us on Saturday, April 15th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for fire pit rentals right on the lake in Hermit Cove. Rentals include wood, firestarter, and Adirondack chairs with the option of purchasing one of our campfire add-on packages! The moon, the water, the fish! Does it get any better? We'll be open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 15th for New Moon Fishing. Full sized lanterns required at sunset. The entrance gate will close at 8:00 p.m. Boat launches and rentals will be available.

Join us for a night of fishing in Lakes 1-4.  No state fishing license is required, only a permit from the General Store.  Adults $10, Jrs & Seniors $6, Extra pole stamp $4.
