Come sit in a cockpit and experience Marine aviation from a pilot's perspective! Cockpits of select aircraft will be open and pilots will be available to answer questions on selected weekends through out the Summer.
The Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum has 27 vintage aircraft on display as well as thousands of artifacts from World War I through present day. It is located aboard Marine Corps Air Station-Miramar at 4203 Anderson Ave, San Diego. The sentry-free museum entrance is on Miramar Rd, 3.9 miles east of I-805 and 1.3 miles west of I-15. (Look for the Marine Corps and American flags at the museum entrance which is directly across the street from 8604 Miramar Rd.)
