See 31 historical aircraft from World War II to present, up close. Indoor galleries have hundreds of artifacts from the dawn of aviation to today. For a limited time see the Military Working Dogs exhibit and the winning artwork from the "Marines in Flight" Art Contest.
This family-friendly, free attraction is staffed by volunteers, most of whom served as military pilots or aircrew. Kids and adults can strap into an ejection seat, put on a helmet and try their luck with an "I Spy" activity.
Open Cockpit Days are offered every other weekend during the summer and on additional days. 2021 Open Cockpit Days are not yet scheduled.

Directions: Museum is located at 4203 Anderson Ave, San Diego, CA. The sentry-free museum entrance is on Miramar Road, 3.9 miles east of I-805 or 1.3 miles west of I-15. (Look for the flags and the aircraft at the entrance!).
