Military Working Dog Demonstration

See USMC Dogs at Work and Talk to their Handlers

See demonstrations by the incredible USMC military working dogs and talk to their handlers. Try on an attack vest and sleeve.

After the demonstrations, take a tour of the 31 historical aircraft on display and the 8 indoor galleries of artwork, uniforms and artifact.  Exhibits include the new Military Working Dog exhibit as well as Marines in Space, Medal of Honor Recipients and World War II Flying Ace, Joe Foss. Kids can try on helmets, strap into an ejection seat and try their luck with an "I Spy" activity.

Free admission and parking. 

The Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum is aboard Marine Corps Air Station-Miramar.  The sentry-free museum entrance is on Miramar Rd., 3.9 miles east of I-805 and 1.3 miles west of I-15. (Look for the Marine Corps and American flags at the entrance.)  Regular museum hours are Tues-Sun, 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.
