Brigadier General Michael Aguilar (USMC-retired) is a highly decorated Marine and Gulf War veteran. He will be discussing some of his missions and experiences as a Cobra pilot. During his 31-year Marine Corps career he held a variety of flying and command billets and accumulated over 4000 hours, primarily as an Attack Helicopter Pilot.
The Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum has 31 historical aircraft on display as well as hundreds of artifacts from the earliest days of aviation to the present day. Free admission and parking. The Museum is aboard Marine Corps Air Station-Miramar in the Miramar/Mira Mesa neighborhoods of San Diego.
