Spectacular Black & Gold New Year's Eve Party

NYE Party on the Bay hosted by MMSD

Home to a world-class collection of historic sailing ships, steam-powered boats, and submarines, each offering entertaining and educational exhibits, Maritime Museum of San Diego invites guests to bring in the New Year at the Black and Gold New Year’s Eve Tuesday, December 31, 2019.

The Museum will transform the upper deck of the historic steam ferryboat Berkeley overlooking San Diego Bay into a glamourous lounge open from 9:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Tickets include music from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, complete bar, appetizers, various dessert options, dancing, midnight champagne toast and traditional party favors, noisemakers, and beads to help ring in the New Year.

The Maritime Museum is located on Harbor Dr. near the corner of Ash St. just a few blocks West of interstate 5. From interstate 5 North or South take the “Airport” exit. Look for signs on the freeway and after exiting on to surface streets that read “Embarcadero-Maritime Museum.” They will direct you to the museum. Metered parking is available in front of the Museum.

This easy 19-mile ride will start in Mission Bay, travel to Crown Point, Hospitality Point, Ocean Beach, the San Diego River path, and take a spin around Fiesta Island before heading back to the starting location for a post-ride yoga class. Participants should bring their own bike, helmet, water bottle, extra tube, pump, snacks and a yoga mat.
