Home to a world-class collection of historic sailing ships, steam-powered boats, and submarines, each offering entertaining and educational exhibits, Maritime Museum of San Diego invites guests to bring in the New Year at the Black and Gold New Year’s Eve Tuesday, December 31, 2019.
The Museum will transform the upper deck of the historic steam ferryboat Berkeley overlooking San Diego Bay into a glamourous lounge open from 9:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Tickets include music from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, complete bar, appetizers, various dessert options, dancing, midnight champagne toast and traditional party favors, noisemakers, and beads to help ring in the New Year.
Tickets are $60.00 per person. Limited “VIP booths” designed for groups of 8 are also available. Advance ticket purchase only at sdmaritime.org.
The Maritime Museum is located on Harbor Dr. near the corner of Ash St. just a few blocks West of interstate 5. From interstate 5 North or South take the “Airport” exit. Look for signs on the freeway and after exiting on to surface streets that read “Embarcadero-Maritime Museum.” They will direct you to the museum. Metered parking is available in front of the Museum.
