Pre-Columbian Art from Mingei's Collection

More than 125 objects used by people from the ancient cultures of Mexico, Central and South America. Objects range from those made for ritual and ceremonial use to objects for domestic use.

A rare collection of Maya textile fragments and ancient bead strands will also be presented. One of the few exhibitions of ancient art, ART OF THE AMERICAS is part of Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA.

Get the ultimate Southern California music experience, and panoramic ocean views, along with the amazing musicianship of Pine Mountain Logs, who pack their performances with powerful pitch-perfect harmonies and an energetic attitude.

Every summer Birch Aquarium at Scripps transforms its Tide Pool Plaza into an outdoor music venue unlike any other for the Green Flash Concert Series. These lively monthly concerts, are presented in partnership with 101.5 KGB, STAR 94.1, Belly Up Entertainment and Subaru. Green Flash concerts are for ages 21 and up. All concerts are general admission and standing room only. Individual tickets are $30.95 for members and $35.95 for the general public. Season passes are also available. Admission includes the concert, entrance to all aquarium exhibits, & parking.
