Little Italy Mercato (Every Saturday)

May 19, 2023 - ongoing

Join us at the Little Italy Mercato Farmers’ Market every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and every Wednesday from 9:30am to 1:30pm, year-round, rain or shine. The Saturday market is San Diego County's largest, filling six city blocks on West Date Street from west of Kettner Blvd to Front Street. Shop for farm fresh produce, pastured eggs, poultry, meat, nuts and honey from California farmers; fish, olive oil, bread, sauces and much more from local foodmakers. Find selected local artisans and gifts at each end of the market. Farmers markets keep farmers farming.

Move with Us

Jan 24 - ongoing

Join us for weekly candlelight yoga in the Museum, a uniquely grounding experience in the center of our historic rotunda. We’ll move and breathe together with our instructor, Lunita Velásquez, as the sun sets and rely on natural light and candles to set a calming mood.

All are welcome, regardless of physical ability or yoga experience. People under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The class will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. Please plan ample time for parking within Balboa Park. Museum doors will open at 5:15 p.m. for check-in and to set up your mat. To maintain a quiet restorative experience for all, the Museum doors will be closed and locked at 5:40 p.m.

Registration is available online and walk-ins are welcome. Learn more and register ahead of time at museumofus.org/blog/move-with-us.
