Beer for Breast Cancer Awareness

Join us for a pint on October 1st and your dollars will support BEER 4 B00BS organization, and their mission to promote breast cancer awareness.

Here's all the details:

What: $12 will get you a special BEER 4 B00BS pint glass (to keep!) filled with 16 ounces of Pure beer. *Note that all beers available for the fundraiser will be in Pink text on our tap lists.

When: Tuesday, October 1st: 6-8pm

Where: Pure Project at Balboa Park
2865 Fifth Ave, SD 92103

100% of proceeds will benefit the BEER 4 B00BS organization.

About BEER 4 B00BS:

Founded in 2008 by Lisa White of White Labs, BEER 4 B00BS, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, creates a positive relationship with the brewing community and compassionate businesses to promote breast cancer awareness, support those fighting cancer, and fund life-saving research.

In this talk, Nan Sterman discusses what makes a native plant native, the habitats that native plants come from, which are easiest to grow in San Diego’s gardens, how to grow them, how to use them in the garden, and how to mix them with other plants.

Museum doors open at 5:30 PM and the talk begins at 7 PM. Food, beer, and wine will be available for purchase at the Flying Squirrel Café before the talk. After the talk, join Nan for a signing of her book, Hot Color, Dry Garden, available for purchase at the Museum store.
