Brass at Sea with Westwind Brass

The Westwind Brass, San Diego's premier professional brass ensemble, and the San Diego Maritime Museum announce their upcoming series of concerts aboard the Steam Ferry Berkeley. This world class ensemble will bring together performance, dialogue, wit, and fellowship to take audiences on a journey through the ages. Set against the stunning backdrop of the San Diego Harbor, in the Romantic era ballroom of this beautiful historical landmark, this series promises to be a journey for audiences of all ages!

Danny Green Trio + Strings

A rising creative force on the Southern California jazz scene, San Diego pianist/composer Danny Green has distinguished himself with his touch and affinity for combining elements of jazz, Brazilian, and classical music. The Danny Green Trio + Strings project revolves around Danny's original compositions arranged for his trio (with bassist Justin Grinnell and drummer Julien Cantelm) plus strings. It includes members of the San Diego Symphony performing on violin, viola and cello. The ensemble has performed at a number of venues in San Diego including a live radio broadcast on KSDS Jazz 88.3's "Jazz Live."
