Since 1956 the Cabrillo National Monument Foundation (CNMF ) has helped the National Park Service by supporting numerous educational and scientific activities at Cabrillo National Monument. CNMF is one of several National Park Service Cooperating Associations in the U.S.A; these organizations work to enhance the visitor’s experience at the National Parks. The mission of CNMF is to support and fund interpretive, cultural, historical, scientific and educational programs and activities at Cabrillo National Monument, San Diego’s only National Park. The Foundation relies solely on revenues generated by the bookstore in the Visitor Center at the park, visitor convenience services, membership program, and special events.
