Old West charm meets contemporay cuisine. Dine in Old Town's Historic Cosmopolitan Restaurant.
Enjoy Sunday brunch, lunch or dinner in San Diego’s iconic Cosmopolitan Restaurant and Hotel in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park.
Our Executive Chef Andrew Sasloe has developed a menu that reflects the colorful history of Old Town, offering a choice of American grill, seafood and Mexican-inspired dishes.
Dating back to the early 1800s, The Cosmopolitan offers indoor dining in one of our cozy salas, on an interior or exterior veranda, and outside in our beautiful courtyard, surrounded by fruit trees, vegetable and herb gardens, and warmed by a firebar and overhead heating.
If you are dining with a small group, you might consider the private Bandini Room that seats up to 10 comfortably. Set apart from the other dining areas, it is a perfect place for small corporate or intimate dinners.
Enjoy cocktails at our patio bar or in our 1870's Saloon Bar, reminiscent of the West's early days.
Our restaurant is a perfect location for weddings, rehearsal dinners, fundraising galas, corporate events, business meetings and mixers, family reunions, holiday parties and almost any social occasion, large or small.
Come for dinner, stay for the night in one of our 10 vintage hotel rooms gracing the second story. Each room is uniquely decorated in authentic 1860s antiques. And most of the rooms are on the veranda, where you will enjoy home-made scones with jam and fresh coffee for breakfast as you take in the view of Old Town State Park and beyond.
