San Diego Theatre Month is an exciting program of the San Diego Performing Arts League (SDPAL). The mission of San Diego Theatre Month is to highlight the variety and enhance the awareness of San Diego's diverse performing arts community.

Participating performing arts groups will be offering a variety of special promotions during the month of March 2023. Tickets will be offered at $15, $30 and $45 levels

Four stellar musicians with indelible family and musical ties to the Clapton legacy, join forces to perform this inspirational new concert with an energy and flair that’s all their own.

Lead guitarist and vocalist Will Johns is Eric’s Nephew; on keyboards, Noah East is the son of Clapton’s longtime bassist, Nathan East. This is augmented by the prodigious talent and showmanship of Dylan Elise of Blood, Sweat & Tears, on drums, and multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Steve Ball, who recently toured with The Music of Cream. 

The set includes not only the ‘Clapton Classics’ but rekindles hits from albums such as Behind the Sun, August, and Journeyman.

The Roustabouts Theatre Co. in March of 2020 was to launch the World Premiere of Will Cooper’s gUnTOPIA. Unfortunately, the production was shut down on its opening night due to Covid. Three years later, The Roustabouts are bringing back this important piece of theatre that was never seen by an audience. Roustabouts artistic director, producer and founding member Phil Johnson, who plays Harry Nelson in the play, guarantees that gUnTOPIA will present audiences with a “challenging and provocative experience.”  Many performances will be accompanied by talkbacks or panel discussions with the artists and with experts (academicians, politicians, activists, and community leaders) on the societal impact of gun violence in America.

Anton Chekhov’s beloved masterwork is a rich tapestry of the human condition woven into a humorous and haunting tale. With universal themes of societal upheaval, love, loss, grief, envy, and ambition, THE CHERRY ORCHARD remains as relevant and powerful today as it was when it first premiered in 1903. Serious theatre-lovers will not want to miss this classic tale of heightened human drama.
