A Christmas Story

Book by: Joseph Robinette
Music and Lyrics by: Benj Pasek and Justin Paul

Nine year old Ralphie Parker wants one thing for Christmas, and one thing only: An Official Red Ryder Range Model Carbine Action BB Gun. There’s only one problem: everyone else is convinced he’ll shoot his eye out! Undeterred, he begins his saga of convincing all the necessary players, from his sweet and protective Mother, to his straightlaced teacher, Miss Shields, all the way to Santa Claus himself, that he needs that gun for the protection of his loved ones, and maybe even a little cowboy glory to call his own.

The Flower Fields

Mar 1 - May 9, 2021

For more than sixty years, Mother Nature has transformed the rolling hills of North San Diego County into one of the most spectacular and coordinated displays of natural color and beauty anywhere in the world. The nearly fifty acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers that make up the Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch in Carlsbad, California, are in bloom for approximately six to eight weeks each year - from early March through early May - literally bringing the famous fields back to life. This annual burst of color, which has become part of the area’s local heritage, also is one of nature’s official ways of announcing the arrival of spring here in Southern California.

Building Resilience

Jan 30, 2021

JFG's Building Resilience pop up museum stems from the Community 1,000 Cranes project that invited everyone to create an origami crane in hopes to reach a total of 1,000 cranes together to promote recovery, solidarity, and resilience during the initial stay at home orders that began in March, 2020. This pop up museum is designed to activate a public space outside of Balboa Park by bringing JFG demonstrations and exhibits as well as locally partnered programming in an accessible manner to promote cultural exchange.

TRANSFORM: Full Moon Ceremony

Jan 29, 2021

During a Full Moon, the Moon is sits opposite to the Sun allowing for full illumination. The Full Moon energy is heightened and sometimes emotionally charged - our feelings, mental processes, dreams are amplified.

It is a powerful time of gratitude, creativity and manifestation. During this time, we focus on what can serve your highest self while letting go of that which no longer serves the grandest vision of your soul.

Join us for a 90-minute ceremony that will embrace this energy and allow our intentions and emotions to the forefront so we can manifest and ultimately let go.
